WASHING PROCESS
COTTON WASH (NO LINE)
A wash tank without a line underneath indicates that normal or maximum wash conditions can be used, at the appropriate temperature (indicated by numbers on the inside of the tank).
WASHING OF SYNTHETICS (WITH A LINE UNDERNEATH)
A line below the wash tank indicates that reduced or medium wash conditions should be used, at the appropriate temperature.
WOOL WASH (DOUBLE LINE BELOW)
A double line below the wash tank indicates that very low or minimal washing conditions should be used and is specifically intended for wool products that are susceptible to machine washing.
HAND WASH
A hand inside the wash tank indicates that only hand washing is possible
